Folks, I’m seeing a lot of people recommend setting xpinstall.signatures.required to false to fix the Firefox extensions issue.
⚠️ DO NOT DO THIS! ⚠️
It disables signature checking on extensions which means that you open yourself up to malicious extensions if you install any new ones or if you have auto updates on.

The default Searx theme is not so great for first impressions, it's a bit techy :/
(I know people can manually change to a different theme on Searx, but that is fiddly and doesn't help with first impressions.)

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea behind LibremOne from @purism. We, the decentralized internet advocates, are quite far with the tech.
